B.League: Dwight Ramos, Levanga Hokkaido advance in Emperor’s Cup
MANILA, Philippines—Dwight Ramos helped Levanga Hokkaido reach the next round of the Japan B. League’s Emperor Cup as they trashed Altiri Chiba, 96-68, at Windhill Kushiro Super Arena on Sunday.
Ramos finished with nine points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal on the defensive end.
Article continues after this advertisementHis Filipino counterpart Kobe Paras had seven points for Chiba, which bowed out of the tournament.
The Nagoya Diamond Dolphins and the San-En NeoPhoenix also advanced.
Nagoya moved on after clipping Justin Baltazar and the Hiroshima Dragonflies, 89-85, despite Ray Parks not seeing action for the Diamond Dolphins.

Greg Slaughter, like Parks and Baltazar, did not play in the Rising Zephyr Fukuoka’s loss to the Ibaraki Robots, 74-62, at White Ring Arena.
