Tennis: Halle could host WTA tournament in 2014
HAlle, Germany – The ATP grass-court tournament at Halle could expand to include a women’s WTA event in 2014, organizers announced on Tuesday after a visit by Australian WTA Tour Supervisor Pam Whytcross.
“These are superb facilities, very well kept, where the players never have far to travel and get about,” said Whytcross after a guided tour in the presence of tournament director Ralf Weber.
