MANILA, Philippines—Newly minted ONE Bantamweight champion Fabricio Andrade wants his first challenger to be from Team Lakay.

Andrade, who defeated John Lineker in the main event of ONE Fight Night 7: Andrade vs. Lineker II, wasted no time in issuing an open challenge to prove his worth as a fighting champion.

His first call-out? Team Lakay’s Stephen Loman.

“Loman, you want this? Come get it,” told Andrade shortly after winning the then-vacated Bantamweight strap.

Andrade scored a win over Lineker via corner stoppage just before the fourth round began.

Loman, on the other hand, is comfortably sitting on the division’s third seed and evidently, he is next in line for the title.

Sporting a 17-2-0 record, Loman’s most recent win was a dominant one, as he defeated decorated fighter Bibiano Fernandes in ONE Fight Night 4, just three months ago.

Unlike Andrade, however, Loman did not take the win via TKO, but from a unanimous decision.

Team Lakay seemingly responded to Andrade’s call out on a Facebook post where the video is attached with a short but straightforward message.

“The Sniper is coming! Congratulations to Fabricio Andrade, but hold on tight to that belt ‘cause Stephen Loman is coming.”
