PVL: Creamline dumps winless Army
MANILA, Philippines—Creamline barely broke a sweat in turning back lowly Army-Black Mamba, 25-15, 25-20, 25-12, in the Premiere Volleyball League’s All-Filipino Conference at Philsports Arena on Tuesday.
After taking over two hours of play before beating Chery Tiggo on Saturday, the Cool Smashers only needed an hour and 18 minutes to dispose of the Lady Troopers.

“I feel good because of course, we wanted to win today and for our other teammates to play so I really gave my best.”
Carlos, who scored only nine the last time out, rebounded with 17 points to power the Cool Smashers to a league-leading 5-1 record while Michele Gumabao kept her consistency in scoring with 11 to her name.

Birthday girl Rizza Mandapat put Creamline at match point, 24-12, before Carlos sealed the victory and sent Army to a 0-5 start.
