MANILA, Philippines—Filipino-American Jackie Buntan showed dominance in ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III at 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado, USA on Saturday (Manila time).

Buntan knocked out Diandra Martin of Australia in the first round of their 131-pound catchweight bout to open ONE Championship’s debut on United States soil.

The 25-year-old Buntan connected on a body shot then a right upstairs to finish off the much taller Martin at the 2:34 mark.

The win elevated Buntan’s professional record to 5-1-0.

In the main event, Demetrious Johnson successfully defended his flyweight world title against Adriano Moraes by unanimous decision.

Johnson, considered one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, repeated over Moraes, whom he knocked out with a flying knee in their second encounter last August.

Also retaining his title was the tough-as-nails Rodtang Jitmuangnon, who stopped Mexican challenger Edgar Tabares in the second round, to keep his flyweight Muay Thai crown.

Five-time jiu-jitsu world champion Mikey Musumeci kept his flyweight submission grappling world title. Musumeci stamped his class with a first-round submission victory over Yemen’s Osamah Almarwai.
