MANILA, Philippines—Bryan Bagunas is back in Taiwan as he leads the Lianzhuang Win Streak volleyball team in an invitational tournament in Malaysia.
Win Streak shared photos and videos of Bagunas returning to practice, 11 days after his wedding.
The Philippine men’s volleyball star tied the knot with his longtime partner Nicole Tracy Tan last June 6 and spent a short honeymoon in Boracay.
The Lianzhuang-based team will compete in the Win Streak Volleyball International Invitational Championship from June 22 to 25 in Johor.
The Top Volleyball League champions will face teams from Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, and host Malaysia.
It will be Bagunas’ first game back with the Win Streak since leading the club to a title and winning the MVP in his first season in Taiwan.
The 25-year-old outside spiker debuted with the club in last year’s Malaysia Invitational tournament, where he faced and beat his college team National University.
Win Streak settled for a runner-up finish last year after losing to the Malaysian team, MBSA BH, in the gold medal game.
