MANILA, Philippines—Women’s volleyball captain Dani Ravena capped off her stint at Ateneo de Manila University on Saturday.
Ravena received her degree in Environmental Science.
Ravena took to Instagram to mark an “end of a chapter,” including photos from her graduation rites with her parents Bong and Mozzy Ravena.
Dani was the last Ravena to play in the UAAP after his brothers Kiefer and Thirdy starred in the men’s basketball tournament in the past decade.
She last played under coach Oliver Almadro in Season 84 to help Ateneo gain a bronze medal finish.
In that same year, Ravena took on the role of being the squad’s skipper despite being a libero—a rarity in the sport.
Ravena began playing for Loyola Heights back in Season 80 under legendary coach Tai Bundit and won one title pre-pandemic, the season after.
Now with the Akari Chargers, Ravena is plaing under national team coach Jorge Souza de Brito.
