MANILA, Philippines—Before Jeron Teng signed a new contract with San Miguel on Wednesday, the PBA player had another milestone just days before.
Teng, on Instagram, announced that he and long-time partner Jeanine Beatrice Tsoi have officially tied the knot.
“Officially Mr. and Mrs. Teng,” wrote the La Salle product in his post.
Teng and Tsoi have been together since 2014 when the former made a name for himself in the UAAP for the Green Archers.
Teng proposed to Tsoi, a former courtside reporter for La Salle, in March of last year.
Well wishes greeted the newlyweds in the same Instagram post from basketball and showbiz icons alike.
Fellow PBA cager Troy Rosario, College of St. Benilde coach Charles Tiu sent their congratulations to the happy couple.
Jeron’s brother Jeric, a former University of Santo Tomas star, also posted a special congratulatory message for the newly weds.
“Words can’t fully express what I’m feeling. I am sooo happy for you bro @jeronalvinteng 😊 and welcome to our family @jeaninebeatrice! I am always here for the both of you. Love you guys,” Jeric said.
Jeron and Jeric are sons of PBA legend Alvin Teng.
Most recently, Teng averaged 12.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in the PBA’s 47th season. His contract wasn’t renewed by Converge.
