MANILA, Philippines—Coming off a forgettable Leg 4 in the PBA 3×3 Season 3 second conference, TNT went back into the win column after successfully claiming Leg 5.

In a lopsided finalè, the Triple Giga made easy work of Pioneer Elastoseal, 21-13, at Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces on Tuesday.

This after TNT got bounced off the semifinals round last week in Leg 4 where MCFASolver defeated Meralco in a narrow 21-20 affair in the Final.

Almond Vosotros, Chester Saldua and Samboy De Leon poured in six points each in the victory while Ping Exciminiano chipped in three for the victory.

“We preach effort, that’s our staple in TNT. That’s how we win games,” said Saldua after the record-extending 17th leg triumph.

“Thanks to coach Mau (Belen) for putting a lot of pressure and setting the bar high for us and to Almond for leading the team.”

Wilson Baltazar and Reggie Morido scattered four markers each for the Katibays but to no avail.

Triple Giga took home P100,000 pesos in cash prize while Pioneer settled for the P50,000 consolation.

MCFASolver completed the podium after escaping Meralco in the battle for third, 21-15, to gain the P30,000 pesos prize.
