‘Drift’ championship up

THE TUASON Racing School (TRS)-Castrol Drift Team embarks on another season of exciting action and challenges with multititled champion Mike Tuason and Bjorn Ongtiaobok spearheading its campaign for the titles at stake in the 2012 Lateral Drift Championship Series kicking off today at the Quirino Grandstand.

Parading the Castrol RX7 car, Tuason will be pushing his talents against the top guns in the Pro division while Ongtiaobok will be vying for the crown in the Amateur class.

Tuason expects a rough journey this season as he goes up against the elite and more experienced top guns of the premiere class.

Ongtiaobok, a product of Tuason Racing’s Tough Driver Challenge, hopes to surpass last year’s feat by aiming for bigger accomplishments this season and winning the Lateral Drifting Amateur crown is just one of them.
