MANILA, Philippines—Kim Kianna Dy is wasting no time in preparation for the Premier Volleyball League (PVL)’s next season.

Almost immediately after landing from Japan, fresh from supporting his partner Dwight Ramos in the Japanese B.League All-Star Game, Dy took the teraflex to train with her new team, PLDT.

The High Speed Hitters posted a photo of the former F2 Logistics star on their Facebook account on Tuesday.

“Kianna Dy is home! The opposite hitter joins the High Speed Hitters for the first time today,” the post read.

“Let’s go Point City!”

Dy is coming off a knee injury which kept her out of action for the Cargo Movers in the second All-Filipino conference.

She was acquired by PLDT earlier this month to start the year, alongside fellow former F2 hitter, Majoy Baron.

Also included in the jump from F2 to PLDT was setter Kim Fajardo, basically forming a La Salle reunion under PLDT.

Dy’s arrival in practice for PLDT is a sign of a new duo to come with spiker Sav Davison, a tandem that coach Rald Ricafort has been raving about since the former Lady Archer’s arrival with the High Speed Hitters.

“For Sav and KKD, I think the offense and first line of defense will have an impact. Both are good blockers and very athletic,” Ricafort said earlier this month.
