The shifty guard confirmed that there are, indeed, offers for him to play elsewhere, Remogat said he would’ve wanted the news to come from him.
“I hope they don’t talk ahead of me. I hope they know learn to ask me, or wait for my decision because it’s disrespectful. It also hurts because they’re putting me in a bad light. What if I’m actually staying?” said Remogat in Filipino while watching the PBA at Araneta Coliseum on Friday.

Rey Remogat blasts rumor spreaders.
“Sana wag nila pangunahan. Sana matuto sila magtanong, hintayin ‘yong decision para sa part namin kasi parang nakakadisrespect. Masakit din para sa’kin na pag-iisipan ako ng masama. E, pa’no kung nagstay pa ‘ko?” | @MeloFuertesINQ pic.twitter.com/FfOfnnOMzR

Remogat revealed that he’s stuck at a crossroads with three possible paths: go professional overseas, stay with UE, or move to another school.
He said that his decision is bred from personal reasons.
“I’ll either turn pro, stay [in UE] or in another school. It’s because of the situation within my family. I need to decide not just for me but also for my family.”
“The reason’s personal. The UE management understands it. When I talked to them on Tuesday, they asked me about my plans. They said that whatever I’m planning, they will support it.”
Remogat earned his popularity last season after posting norms of 16.5 points, 7.8 assists, 6.3 rebounds and two steals per game.
