MANILA, Philippines–Meralco Bolts ruled the PBA 3×3 Season 3 third conference Grand Finals and denied TNT Triple Giga their bid for a back-to-back grand slam on Monday.

The Bolts beat the Triple Giga, 21-71-, in the last grand finals of Season 3 at Ayala Malls Glorietta with Joseph Sedurifa leading the way with eight points.

JJ Manlangit helped Meralco in the final with seven points. Alfred Batino chipped in five while Jeff Manday went cold from the field for just a one-point finish.

This was the Bolts’ first ever Grand Finals title that came with a grand prize of P750,000.

“We’ve been playing here in the PBA 3×3 for so long and this is only the first time we’ve experienced this,” said Batino after his team Meralco beat TNT in two of three-leg championships this season.

TNT bagged P250,000 for finishing runner-up for the very first time. Its lowest finish ever in the grand finals was third place in the opening conference of PBA 3×3 Season 1.

Cavitex turned back Blackwater in the battle for third, 22-19, to win P100,000.
