MANILA, Philippines—Carlo Bumina-ang has plenty of reasons to celebrate after ONE Friday Fights 65 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Not only did he deliver an impressive victory over Chayan Oorzhak but more importantly, Bumina-ang earned himself a $100,000 contract to be officially part of the ONE Championship roster.

“I’m so happy to get the finish today and fighting here at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, I’m so grateful,” said Bumina-ang.

The Team Lakay fighter submitted Oorzhak at the 2:39 mark of the second round via a ninja choke.

Bumina-ang also dominated Oorzhak in striking, catching his Russian-Mongolian foe with a left straight that led to the submission.

The 30-year-old Bumina-ang, a Southeast Asian Games silver medalist in vovinam, remained undefeated after hiking his record to 5-0.

Bumina-ang also pocketed a $10,000 performance bonus.
