PBA: Jordan Adams set to return as San Miguel import
San Miguel Beer is bringing back Jordan Adams as import for Friday’s game against Phoenix in the PBA Governors’ Cup despite fielding Sheldon Mac as his replacement.
Team manager Gee Abanilla confirmed the sudden switch that came with Mac having just one game under his belt in a Beermen uniform.
Article continues after this advertisementPBA rules will allow Adams to regain his spot since he was listed as the original import prior to the start of the season-opening conference.

Mac was coming off a 16-point, one-rebound, one-assist, one-steal and one-block statline Wednesday when San Miguel defeated NLEX, 119-114, at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Article continues after this advertisementBut San Miguel opted to play all-Filipino during the latter stages of the match to seal the win and go 4-2 in Group B for joint second with Barangay Ginebra.
Coach Jorge Gallent, however, felt during the postgame press conference that Mac would eventually be “fluid” once he gets accustomed to the team.

The Beermen are fielding back Adams, who in his previous game scored 41 points in the thrilling 113-112 win over the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters last week.
Mac came in with credentials of being a former NBA player for the Washington Wizards from 2016 to 2018.
