BUTCH Brodett and Rolando Sacramento ruled their respective divisons and led the winners in the Manila Southwoods Seniors Trimester birthday bash at the Manila Southwoods’ Masters Course in Carmona, Cavite, last Thursday.
Brodett had nines of 38-38 and ran away with the Class A (0-12) crown with a gross 76 and a net 65, five clear of Brian Park (81, net 70) in the second of three tournaments lined up this year honoring the birthday celebrants.
Sacramento grossed an 88 for a net 69 to edge Jojo Lee in a countback and snatch the Class B (13-24) title.
Ed Pozon shot a net 67 from a gross 93 as he took the Class C (25-36) title, beating Parouk Hussin, who had a gross 98 and a net 73.
Rod Pepito topped the Super Seniors (75-and-above) with a net 71, besting Southwoods Seniors Chapter president Jose Cedo Cedo (net 81).
