PBA: Troy Rosario delivers best game for Ginebra
MANILA, Philippines—Troy Rosario had his best game in a Ginebra jersey on Sunday night as the Gin Kings stormed past the San Miguel Beermen in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
With Justin Brownlee “under the weather,” Rosario picked up the slack and finished with a game-high 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field. He also grabbed 10 rebounds and tallied a block in 33 minutes of action.

“Coming into this game, we knew San Miguel for how big they are and how much of a powerhouse team they are so we needed to limit our errors and execute our system.”
The 32-year-old Rosario signed with Ginebra last November as an unrestricted free agent and he quickly embraced the Gin Kings’ brand of basketball.

“Troy kind of represented our performance tonight and I thought we really just played hard and Troy kind of represented that for us,” added Cone after steering the Gin Kings to a 5-2 record.
Ginebra will need another solid outing from Rosario when it clashes with top team Northport on Wednesday at Philsports Arena.
