MANILA, Philippines — Volleyball star EJ Laure tied the knot with longtime partner and former child actor Bugoy Cariño on Sunday at St. John Marie Vianney Parish Church in Silang, Cavite.
Cariño and Laure exchanged “I do’s” in front of their family and loved ones.
Cariño shared a reel of his marriage with Laure with the hashtag #onceENNAlifetimeWithBugoy.

He wore a green suit, while the PVL star walked down the aisle in an off-shoulder white wedding dress — same as the outfit of their daughter Scarlet, who served as a little bride.
Eya, EJ’s sister, also shared special moments from the wedding on her Instagram.
The Nxled Chameleons, Alina Bicar, Imee Hernandez, Dimdim Pacres, Buding Duremdes, and Ces Molina also attended the wedding.

In 2023, EJ was engaged to Cariño during the latter’s birthday party. The couple revealed their child to the public in 2020 during the actor’s 18th birthday.
Nxled is currently in the play-in round of the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference, losing its first game to Chery Tiggon on Thursday when Laure scored 15 points but lost to her former club team, 22-25, 24-26, 12-25.
Laure and the Chameleons resume their play-in campaign against Farm Fresh on Thursday at Philsports Arena.
