MANILA, Philippines—Ray Parks Jr. did a bit of everything in Osaka Evessa’s 85-78 win over the Kawasaki Brave Thunders in the B.League on Sunday at Kawasaki Todoroki Arena.

Parks Jr. didn’t have his usual offensive game but was everywhere on the court collecting six points, eight rebounds, three assists and a steal in 34 minutes.

Volodymyr Gerun and Matt Bonds did the heavy lifting for Osaka with 25 and 23 points, respectively, to push Evessa to a 23-21 record.

Parks’ fellow Filipino import Matthew Wright had 10 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Brave Thunders, who dropped to a 14-30 card.

Over at Kataoka Arena in Kyoto, AJ Edu’s Nagasaki Velca routed home team Hannaryz, 84-63.

The Gilas big man played sparingly for 12 minutes and finished with just two points, three rebounds, an assist and a block to help Velca improve to 21-23.

Another Gilas player mainstay Dwight Ramos had a forgettable outing for Levanga Hokkaido, who absorbed an 81-61 drubbing at the hands of the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins at Hokkai Kita-Yale.

Ramos, who was just two games removed from dropping a career-high 30 points, went scoreless after missing all of his 11 attempts from the field in 19 minutes of action while snagging just a rebound and a steal in the loss that sent Hokkaido crashing to a 16-28 slate.
