UST coach Odjie Mamon was satisfied with how the Golden Spikers pushed through for the victory despite a monster outing from Kampton and some late-game fumbles.

“We’re back in the win column, and regarding our errors, especially at the end when we struggle and get distracted in closing out the game—that’s what we worked on this past week. I think it was quite a success,” said Mamon.

Josh Ybañez powered UST with a season-high 21 points while Dux Yambao set up the offense with 27 excellent sets.
