MANILA, Philippines — Erica Staunton is returning for another tour of duty for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Champions League from April 20 to 27 at Philsports Arena.
Creamline on Thursday announced the return of their American import hours before their crucial semifinal game against Choco Mucho in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

“Sobrang good vibes dahil may nagbabalik na GV-kada for AVC 2025 Women’s Champions League! Welcome back Erica, sobrang saya at super excited na kaming makita ka ulit sa court with the Creamline Cool Smashers,” the team said.
Staunton led Creamline to a historic PVL grand slam last year after helping their undermanned roster rule the Reinforced and Invitational Conferences.
The 24-year-old import earned the 2nd Best Outside Spiker of the Invitationals before heading to her next overseas stints in Finland and Indonesia.

The Georgia University product will join a loaded Creamline team with Alyssa Valdez and Tots Carlos, whom she missed playing with last year due to their respective injuries.
Creamline opens its Pool A stint on April 20 against Al Naser Club from Jordan before taking on Zhetysu VC of Kazakhstan on April 21.
Petro Gazz will also represent the country in Pool B, facing Taipower of Taipei and Hip Hing Women’s Volleyball Team of Hong Kong. PLDT is slated in Pool D against Nakhon Ratchasima of Thailand and Queensland Pirates of Australia.
