Iniesta to miss Champions opener with leg injury
BARCELONA, Spain— Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta will be sidelined for 10 to 15 days with a leg injury, ruling him out of the Champions League opener against Russian side Spartak Moscow next Wednesday.
Barcelona said on Wednesday that Iniesta, recently named UEFA’s Best Player in Europe, pulled a muscle in his right leg during Spain’s 1-0 win in Georgia on Tuesday.
Iniesta will miss Saturday’s Spanish league game at Getafe as well.

Barcelona leads the Spanish league after a perfect start through three rounds, enjoying a five-point advantage over defending champion Real Madrid.
