NGAP all-out in effort to boost game, membership
MANILA—The National Golf Association of the Philippines is busy seeking the permission of several exclusive golf clubs to allow nonmember juniors to play in their international-quality layouts.
Encouraged by the huge turnouts in several regional events it has revived this season, the NGAP is also drawing up more events for next year to enhance the sports’ growth in the country.
“This will give the junior golfers the opportunity to play and test various courses which they will need to play internationally,” said NGAP secretary general Jun Arceo.
