NGFB ‘Bakbakan’ starts with a bang
THE 2012 EDITION of “NFGB National Bakbakan 11-Stag Derby” roared to a big start last week as it attracted a huge field of 470 entries.
Now in its 11th year, “Bakbakan” is spearheaded by the National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders, composed of more than 5,000 breeders.
Among the 27 participants with three wins each are Bien Rosaria, Celso Salazar and Jeric Dy, Boy Gamilla, Jess Floro and Robert Zhang, Arman Santos and RJ Mejia, Nic Levina, Jojit Jovi and Ranin Regalado.
Meanwhile, NFGB executive director Arnel Anonuevo announced the following changes in schedule: Nov. 12 elims of RGBA in Pasig moved to Araneta Coliseum on Nov. 13; Nov. 4 elims of Lagba in Pasay Cockpit moved to Biñan Coliseum and Nov. 10 elims of Migba moved to Nov. 9.
