RGBA seeks ‘Bakbakan’ plum anew

THE MIGHTY Rizal Gamefowl Breeders Association begins its renewed quest for a second “Bakbakan” crown today with the staging of the first of several 3-stag elimination starting at 2 p.m. at Texas Cockpit Arena featuring 60 entries.

Heading the cast is the newly crowned 2012 RGBA Breeder of the Year Peping Chan & Vergel and 2012 Stag Fighter of the Year Cris Torrano with James & Charles Wolf.

Backed by Thunderbird Romoxty, another 3-stag elims takes place at Texas Cockpit on Wednesday, followed by a 4-stag semis on Nov. 5.

The actions shifts to Pasig Square Garden on Nov. 8, followed by a Nov. 13 elims at Smart Araneta Coliseum and back at Pasig Square Garden on Nov. 16 for a 4-stag semifinal.

RGBA’s 4-stag finals for those with 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5 points is set at Ynares “Capitolyo” Multi-Purpose Stadium on Dec. 4.
