Brian Viloria, fresh from his smashing knockout victory that made him a boxing royalty once again, Tuesday bared that he is thinking of either gunning for the undisputed title or going up in weight class.

Coming home after capturing the WBO and WBA world flyweight titles following a 10th round TKO victory over Hernan “Tyson” Marquez last Nov. 17, Viloria said he will use his holiday to chart his boxing career that has seen ups and downs through the years.

“There are a lot of things that I can do,” said Viloria during the PSA Forum at Shakey’s Malate. Among the options he’s weighing is whether to fight Cebu-based Filipino Milan Melindo who is the WBO No. 1 contender.

“Right now I don’t know exactly. There’s nothing yet in line,” said Viloria.

“Everyone’s saying it’s the mandatory fight but there’s still no confirmations,” added Viloria on the prospects of going against a fellow Filipino, which many believe is not financially lucrative.

The 32-year-old Viloria, whose spectacular wins are coupled with equally stunning defeats, is sporting a 32-3-0 record with 19 knockouts.

Four of his last six wins were via KO including those against Giovani Segura and Omar Niño Romero.

“I’ve been through a lot to get right here once again and ever since that fight against Tamara I learned a lot and became a tougher and better boxer,” said Viloria referring to his 12th round TKO defeat to Carlos Tamara two years ago at Cuneta Astrodome for the IBF light fly belt.

Viloria said he could go after the IBF and WBC versions of the 122 pounds belt or drop everything to move up to the next weight class.
