THE BANGKOK All-Stars came from behind to beat Ateneo, 5-4, in the 10-under division softball finals of the 8th Kids Goodwill Games recently at Alabang Country Club.
The win sealed a 5-0 slate for Bangkok.
Also claiming the championship was the Woodrose 12-under squad, which also finished the tournament with a 5-0 record.
The tournament was made up of teams from Bangkok, Jakarta, Singapore and the Philippines and was organized by the Alabang Baseball Softball Club.
A total of 33 teams showed up to battle for five division crowns.
Northern Samar won the 12-under class by six runs against the Singapore Strikers.
Alabang Tigers, meanwhile, dominated Makati, 10-1, in the Girls 15-under division to bag the gold.
Other division champions were the Alabang Tigers Blue (boys’ 12-under), Jakarta Prambors (boys’ 14-under) and the Mavericks (boys’ 14-under). All of them finished with 5-0 records.
