Chieffy, Accel go worldwide
Top local sports apparel outfitter Accel has partnered with football star Chieffy Caligdong in a fitting tribute to the homegrown talent’s contribution to the resurgence of the national team and the sport in the country.
Caligdong is one of the heroes of the national side having scored important goals for the country, including one that propelled the Philippine Azkals to a 1-0 win over Vietnam in the AFF Suzuki Cup last December.
Accel, owned by Sporteum Philippines Inc., is no stranger to helping out Filipino athletes and Caligdong’s entry as one of the brand’s partners is part of their commitment in supporting sports in the country, a statement from the company said.
