Joshua Andrei Carucut and Rev Diputado, both former national youth team standouts, sparked another dominating San Beda run as the Red Cubs dumped 4T Power Faith Academy, 96-63, to complete a 3-0 romp in Group B.
Caracut fired 17 points on top of four assists and three steals, while Diputado added 16 for the four-time NCAA juniors champions, who also routed NLEX Tarlac and Philex Zamboanga a day earlier.
Maynilad Cebu topped Group D with a similar 3-0 card following twin victories over Philex Davao, 77-61, and NLEX La Union, 102-49.
Dawn Ochea and Fletcher Galveza delivered 15 points each as Cebu whipped Davao before teaming up again in the huge win over La Union.
Smart Iloilo, which stunned Exceed Diesel National University a day before, overwhelmed Smart Legazpi, 120-35, in Group B at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Darrio Burri paced Iloilo with 20 points and Elenito Tanaleon added 17.
Philex Zamboanga drubbed NLEX Tarlac, 98-85, in Group B, while Smart Bacolod downed NLEX Dagupan, 91-75, in Group A.
