Meet the real Manny Pacquiao

(10-BALL KNOCKOUT: Get a glimpse of her or, better yet, catch her live on television before Korean beauty Yu Ram Cha leaves like a meteor. The shining Sokor, who could be a front runner in any international beauty pageant, sneaked back from a 2-5 hole to beat an elder Japanese star Tuesday in the current Yalin Women’s World 10-Ball. There’s an array of comely competitors in the tournament, but the camera simply fell in love with the demure, depth-shooting Ms Yu, a knockout of a beauty.)

NOT THAT he’s gifted with fantastic focus; he’s not Superman with an X-ray vision, but please sit down and listen to what this super sharp boxing examiner has to say.
The Manny Pacquiao caught horsing around in Manila is not the same fellow they have out there at the Wild Card Gym in the USA.
Not anymore, anyway.
“Who says Manny has lost that fighting edge, the proverbial fire in the belly?” wonders the famous Michael Marley of Examiner.com.

Marley yesterday swore he has seen nothing of the nasty sort.
He added: “This definitely is not the Pacquiao said to be going half-heartedly into the Nov. 13 bout versus Antonio Margarito.”
So whatever happened to the fighter described as unprepared by Bob Arum the other week?
Where is the loose, Unfocused One which Ronnie Nathanielsz claimed has defied analysis?
“Seen nothing of the sort,” confided Marley, who visited the Pacquiao camp in Sarangani before the last May polls.

Marley was at Wild Card during the first day of Pacquiao’s final dash to peak form on Monday.
He claimed to have observed closely in the gym, dogging the Pacman all the way down to Nat’s Thai Food, noting every morsel of food the Filipino boxing super hero took.
Marley, who camped out at the nearby Vagabond Inn, Pacquiao’s original California quarters during his earlier encounters with Juan Manuel Marquez and Erik Morales, has promised to take another look at Pacquiao in training Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila).
From the Vagabond Inn, Marley rolls on to Oxnard, California to check on how Margarito has been doing.

Marley could not hide his amazement after his Monday encounter with the Pacman at the barricaded Wild Card site.
“OK, it won’t be a waltz for Manny, but I don’t think Margarito’s best efforts will be enough to time the dashing in and out Pacquiao with too many solid blows.”
But didn’t he believe what Bob Arum had to declare after a look-see at Pacquiao in the Baguio City camp.
“The doom and gloom outlook coming out of Freddie Roach’s mouth about the ‘worst training camp ever’ is aimed at something else.”
At what?
“It’s meant to light the box office and pay-per-view flames and to lure the public into believing the Mexican Outlaw is better than the 6-1 underdog he had been tabbed to be.”
