Lee, Salva lead UAAP past NCAA
MANILA—University of the East’s Paul Lee and Ateneo’s Nico Salva scored heavily in the final six minutes to lead the UAAP All-Stars to a 90-76 victory over their NCAA counterparts last night in the UAAP-NCAA Bantay Bata 163 Game at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
Lee, the former PBL Rookie of the Year and MVP in 2008, and the hard-working Salva finished with 14 points each as UAAP avenged its 76-60 defeat against NCAA last year.
“It’s the players’ game and I’m glad that we bounced back from our loss last year,” said UAAP All-Stars mentor Norman Black.
