PCC hosts ‘Sagupaan’ 8-stag derby Friday
A GRAND showdown of champion cockers will be the main fare of Pasay City Cockpit’s “Pasay Sagupaan Big Event 8-Stag Derby” on Friday.
No less than 90 fights are slated in the 3-stag elimination, according to PCC pit managers Eric dela Rosa and Butchoy Olano who will host the Sagupaan Complexor 3000-sponsored event with Rep. Patrick Antonio.
The 5-stag finals is set Monday, Sept. 2.
Participants include Antonio, defending champion Tony Lasala, Charlie “Atong” Ang, Dori Du, Mayor Jun Amante of Cebu, Gerry Ramos and Las Piñas Mayor Nene Aguilar, Arcal Astorga of Leyte, Vice Gov. Odie Fausto of Cagayan Valley, LB Candelaria of Quezon Province and Mayor Rudy Albano of Isabela.
Meanwhile, the “5M National Barkadahan Cup 7-stag derby” starts Sept. 7 at Davao Matina Gallera.
