RC Cola-AF targets solo PSL lead vs Cagayan

MANILA, Philippines — RC COLA-Air Force stakes its unblemished record against veteran team Cagayan Valley as it pursues the solo women’s leadership Wednesday in the Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference at Cuneta Astrodome.

The 2 p.m. match ushers in a triple bill that also features struggling women teams Generika-Army and Cignal HD at 4 p.m., and top men squads PLDT-Air Force against Cignal at 6 p.m.

RC Cola-Air Force is enjoying a rebirth of sorts after posting two impressive victories against Cignal and PLDT Home TVolution at the start of the tourney without giving up a single set.

Coach Clarence Esteban credited his team’s preparation in the off-season plus the inclusion of the core of the reigning Philippine National Games champion Philippine Air Force.
