Junior tennis star Lim cracks ranking high
MANILA, Philippines—Filipino junior tennis star Alberto Lim punched through the top 70 in world rankings following his back-to-back title runs recently in India before settling for the 95th spot recently.
The 15-year-old, who has rejuvenated his game following groin injury that sidelined him for months last year, reached a career-best rank after victories in the Delhi ITJ juniors Grade 2 and Chandigarh juniors Grade 3 last last month.
Lim, who was at 150th last year but slid back to 250th following his injury, said he is now psychologically prepared to launch bids in bigger tournaments.

Lim will see action in the Thailand ITF starting March 2 which is a Grade 1 level and is expected to lure the most promising young tennis stars in the region as well as those from Europe. Marc Anthony Reyes
