Gilas Cadets sweep SEABA for crown

Gilas Pilipinas cadets came to Singapore and picked apart the host team, 82-57, to sweep the 11th Southeast Asian Basketball Association and take the title Friday evening at OCBC Arena. The Filipinos decimated the other Southeast Asian teams as it won by an average 68.4 points per game with a 111-point annihilation of Brunei to highlight their perfect run. After the Seaba victory, the Gilas Cadets would still play in Singapore for the Southeast Asian Games.
