Cesar Juarez admitted Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire was the better man, but the Mexican warrior felt their 12-round barn burner should’ve been much closer in the scorecards.

Juarez had his moments in the latter part of the fight after Donaire took control in the first six rounds.

The 24-year-old Juarez thought the bout scores weren’t indicative of how it went with the judges scoring a lopsided fight to Donaire, 116-110, 116-110 and 117-109.

“It was a hard tremendous fight. We’re both warriors. If I had more time to train and more experience, I would have won,” said Juarez, who was floored in the fourth round, as posted on Top Rank boxing’s Twitter account.
