Baby Tamaraws sweep UAAP football elims
Far Eastern University-Diliman completed a first-round sweep of juniors football, while National U stayed unbeaten in juniors basketball in separate UAAP action over the weekend.
The Baby Tamaraws forged a 6-0 shutout of Ateneo to stay solo on top with a maximum of nine points in juniors football at Moro Lorenzo field.
Chester Gio Pabualan, the league’s leading scorer, sparked the rout with a goal on the 13th minute before slotting in another just before full time.

La Salle Zobel took the second spot with four points following a scoreless draw against University of Santo Tomas.
In juniors basketball, 6-foot-7 Justine Baltazar scored on a tip-in at the buzzer as the Bullpups narrowly escaped Adamson, 68-66, to stay unbeaten in nine games.
