RC COLA-ARMY guns for solo leadership when it collides with Foton in a heavy three-game bill today in the Philippine Superliga All Filipino Conference women’s volleyball at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Lady Troopers will gun for a fifth win in as many starts in the 4 p.m. game.
In the other matches, Amy’s Kitchen-Perpetual Help and Cignal will look for their first wins against Petron and Generika, respectively.
RC Cola-Army, which has never lost a title encounter in the league, appears unstoppable anew this conference.
But coach Emilio “Kungfu” Reyes was quick to downplay their chances.
“It just so happened that we’re always at the right place and at the right time,” said Reyes. “We’re just lucky. All teams are strong. All teams are talented. I think we’re winning because we’re slowly reaching our peak condition.”
