Lim ready for tough Davis Cup showdown
For the youngest member of the Cebuana Lhuillier-Philippine Davis Cup team, playing against Indonesia this weekend is his biggest challenge so far.
But Alberto Lim Jr., world No. 22 in juniors, said he is ready for the stern test when the Asia/Oceania Group 2 first round tie commences on Friday at Philippine Columbian Association indoor shell-clay courts.

“When the country needs me I’m always gonna be ready,” said the 17-year-old Lim. “It’s a big opportunity for me and I want to make my country proud.”
Opening singles will start at 3 p.m. on Friday, while doubles match will be at 2 p.m. Saturday. Reverse rubbers will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday.
