Kobe Paras bids farewell to Creighton, plans transfer

After an uneventful one-year run with Creighton, Kobe Paras is leaving the Bluejays.
The 6-foot-6 swingman has reportedly secured his release papers from the school and is now planning to transfer.
Paras broke the news on his Twitter account (@_kokoparas) as he expressed his gratitude to his coaches and Bluejay fans in his short stay at Creighton.
“You welcomed me into your world, into your thoughts & made me a better person. This is goodbye,” he posted. “Thank you coaches and Creighton Bluejay fans.”

Paras, the son of PBA legend Benjie, played sparingly in 15 of Creighton’s 35 games this past season for Creighton, averaging just 1.3 points and 1.0 rebounds in only 4.7 minutes.
He joined Creighton last July after withdrawing from UCLA in June last year.
The 19-year-old Paras, known for his athleticism and versatility, made noise during his junior year at Cathedral High School in Los Angeles and senior year at Middlebrooks Academy.
