Ginebra, Barako Bull and B-Meg in three-team trade proposal
MANILA, Philippines—In efforts to bolster its aging roster, Barangay Ginebra—along with B-Meg and Barako Bull—sent a three-team trade proposal to the PBA Commissioner’s Office Tuesday.
Pending the approval of commissioner-lawyer Chito Salud, Ginebra looks to acquire prized rookie and PBA D-League MVP Allein Maliksi from Barako Bull in exchange for its veteran center Yancy De Ocampo.
The Energy will then ship De Ocampo to B-Meg while lanky forward Rico Maierhofer, who will in turn be traded to Ginebra for sophomore guard Jimbo Aquino along with 2014 and 2015 second round draft picks.

There have been a lot of noise from the Gin Kings camp the past few weeks, and coaches have been hinting that a change in the line-up is needed.
If approved, Ginebra, struggling so far this season with a 4-4 mark, will have a big boost with Maierhofer and Maliksi in tow.

For the Llamados, perhaps the need of a big man with an outside touch to complement the triangle prompted the team to get De Ocampo.
