PVL: UP sends San Sebastian crashing to fourth straight loss

University of the Philippines got its second win at the expense of woeful San Sebastian, 25-15, 25-13, 25-16, in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference Wednesday at Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Lady Maroons improved to a 2-1 record to get to the fourth seed in the tournament while the Lady Stags remained at the cellar with a 0-4 card.

Lorie Bernardo and Marian Buitre had 10 points apiece to lead UP while Ayel Estrañero and Isa Molde combined for 15.

FEATURED STORIES

UP took advantage of San Sebastian’s sloppy offense, which produced just 17 kills, to the tune of 30 points off the Lady Stags’ errors.

The Lady Maroons, on their part, had 33 kills and nine aces.

Joyce Sta. Rita had seven points for the Lady Stags.
