San Beda in as PNP backs out of Spikers’ Turf Open Conference
MANILA, Philippines—The Philippine National Police backed out of the 2019 Spikers’ Turf Open Conference five days into the tournament.
The Patrollers failed to secure their permission from their superior officers, forcing them to withdraw from the competition.

The Red Spikers have already expressed interest in joining the second conference but organizers Sports Vision have already secured the 24 teams that will compete even before San Beda could submit a lineup.
Nonetheless, San Beda would join Sta. Elena-NU (1-0), Arellano University (1-0), University of Santo Tomas (1-0), Mapua (0-2), and Philippine Navy in Pool D.
