NCAA: Bulanadi drops 32 as San Sebastian drubs St. Benilde
MANILA, Philippines–Allyn Bulanadi was due for a freakishly spectacular game anytime.
The 6-foot-3 athletic swingman mocked all defenders thrown at him to power the San Sebastian Stags to an emphatic 83-67 win over the College of St. Benilde on Thursday in the NCAA Season 95 men’s basketball tournament.
Article continues after this advertisementBulanadi finished with 32 points, 11 of them in a pivotal third quarter that allowed the Stags to extinguish any hopes of a CSB comeback.
The Stags, who avenged their first-round defeat against the Blazers, moved up to 7-3 in a tie with the Letran Knights.
“I told them that all those who defeated us are in the top 4. We will be able to gauge ourselves by beating these teams,’’ said San Sebastian coach Egay Macaraya.
