NCAA finds new home, inks broadcast deal with GMA
MANILA, Philippines—The NCAA has found a new partner, inking a deal with broadcast giant GMA to cover the league’s centennial season in 2024 up until 2026.
GMA will broadcast the league’s basketball, volleyball, swimming, and athletic competitions nationwide through GMA News TV as well as its website.
Article continues after this advertisementThe men’s basketball finals will be aired on the main GMA-7 channel while international audiences can tune in via GMA Pinoy TV.

Letran Rector Rev. Fr. Clarence Victor Marquez, O.P. expressed his joy over NCAA’s partnership with GMA as it will allow, he said, the league’s student-athletes to gain a broader reach.
Article continues after this advertisement“The NCAA, the Philippines’ first and longest-running collegiate athletic league, is most happy and honored to enter into partnership with GMA Network, Inc., the Philippines’ number one TV network,” said Marquez, who’s also the Policy Board President of NCAA Season 96 and Letran President.
“We look forward with hope and excitement as we work together to form our young student-athletes to become the next champions and national athletes who will bring honor and glory to our beloved country, moving towards the league’s centennial year,” he added.
This will be the first time that the NCAA will be broadcasted onGMA after previous partnerships with ABS-CBN and TV5 but this won’t be the first time for the network to host a sporting competition.
GMA News TV was once the partner of the Premier Volleyball League, then known as the Shakey’s V-League.
