B.League: Woes pile up for Thirdy’s San-En, Kobe’s Niigata

MANILA, Philippines-Top team Ryukyu proved too much for Thirdy Ravena and San-En in a 110-77 win Saturday in the Japan B.League Division 1 at Okinawa Arena.
The Golden Kings, who led majority of the way, had three players scoring 20-plus points led by Jack Cooley’s 25 points.
Dwayne Evans and Allen Durham added 24 points and 22 points, respectively for Ryukyu which tightened its grip of the No. 1 spot at 26-3.
Robert Carter was the lone bright spot for the NeoPhoenix (4-26) as Thirdy Ravena finished with only seven points.

Niigata’s struggles also continued following an 83-64 loss to Gunma at City Hall Plaza Aore Nagaoya.
Kobe Paras scored seven points in the loss for Niigata (4-29).
