Jeremy Miado vows to put on a show vs Lito Adiwang at ONE X
SINGAPORE–Up against a favored Lito Adiwang, Jeremy Miado is out to prove that he also belongs among the top contenders in the loaded ONE strawweight division.
And the best way to do that is to conquer one of the most exciting fighters in the division in Adiwang, who is the ranked No. 5 strawweight bet with Team Lakay teammate Joshua Pacio holding the reins.

Right now, I just want to prove that I’m a top contender, so I need to rise up the rankings and show that I belong there,” Miado said on Wednesday during a media call ahead of the promotion’s 10th anniversary event.
The two Filipino fighters clash in what is seen to be one of most explosive bouts of the stacked ONE X card on Saturday at Singapore Stadium here and Miado is expecting no less.
“This is going to be a good fight. Worth the performance bonus,” Miado excitedly said in Filipino. “There will be a KO or TKO in the second or third [round].”

Miado is unfazed by the pressure of facing admittedly one of the more popular fighters from the country who hails from a stable that has produced a line of champions in and outside ONE Championship.
“He’s popular and he’s carrying the name of Team Lakay but that doesn’t put a lot on pressure on me, because I just want to show my skills and my level,” said Miado. “A lot are probably betting on him to win, but I’m just using that as a motivation. I came here to fight no matter what happens.”
Miado, whose last win was a stoppage of Li Tao Miao in ONE: Next Gen in October 2021, is looking for nothing less than a victory.
“I really worked hard for this fight. But I came here not just to put on a show, I want to win.”
