ONE X: Denice Zamboanga-Ham Seo Hee rematch a go

SINGAPORE–Filipino fighter Denice Zamboanga and South Korean opponent Ham Seo Hee were no-shows at the ONE X face-off on Friday at Singapore Indoor Stadium here.

But the bout is a proceeding as scheduled as Ham finally made weight and passed the hydration test after the re-testing at midnight, according to sources.

The veteran fighter reportedly failed both hydration tests earlier Friday.

This is a rematch of their controversial fight in the ONE women’s Grand Prix in September last year where Zamboanga lost by split decision.

Team Lakay bets Eduard Folayang, Lito Adiwang and Stephen Loman along with fellow Filipino fighter Jeremy Miado all passed the pre-fight requirements and attended the ceremonial weigh-in.

Folayang tipped the scales at 169 pounds while his opponent, Muay Thai legend John Wayne Parr, weighed in at 170 lbs.

No. 5 strawweight contender Adiwang and Miado, stars of the All-Filipino clash set for the first part of the 20-fight event, came in at 125lbs and 122 lbs, respectively.

Loman, bantamweight’s No. 3, weighed in at 143 lbs while Japan’s Shoko Sato registered 143 lbs.

ONE women’s atomweight champion Angela Lee and challenger Stamp Fairtext, meanwhile, both hit the scales at 114 lbs.
