MANILA, Philippines — Former Phoenix star Matthew Wright has tied the knot with longtime partner Gabriela Moscoso in the United States.

The Filipino-Canadian basketball player on Tuesday posted photos of their wedding last July 24 with the caption: “Hate to see y’all frown but I rather see her smile.”

Gabriela, now Mrs. Wright, expressed her gratitude to the people who attended their special day.

“Thank you to our amazing family & friends for the most unforgettable weekend. I will be reminiscing on this beautiful day for the rest of my life,” Moscoso wrote on Instagram.

Wright, who was drafted by Phoenix in 2016, played his final game with the Fuel Masters last July 16 in the PBA Philippine Cup, opting not to sign a fresh contract with the team and flying to the US for his wedding.

He has not signed any team yet.

The Wrights, who have a son together, got engaged last October 27.
