MANILA, Philippines—Creamline star Alyssa Valdez remains “hopeful” for an early return to the Premier Volleyball League, which gets going with the Open Conference in February.

Valdez, who will be serving as president of the upcoming Spikers’ Turf men’s volleyball, refused to give a full update regarding her knee injury saying she would much rather focus on the upcoming tournament for now.

“I’m doing therapy at the moment and hopefully, we all see each other at this coming PVL conference but we will see Spikers’ Turf first.”

Valdez hurt her right knee due to an awkward landing in the third set of the Cool Smashers’ victory against the Chery Tigo Crossovers in December.
